The Aqara G4 includes an external doorbell unit that can be wired or powered by batteries, and a USB-C powered internal chime that functions as a Wi-Fi repeater or bridge.

When someone arrives, the app sends a notification, allowing you to check the video feed, converse with visitors, or monitor the situation outside your door at any time.
• The Aqara G4 features a 162° super wide-angle field of view, 1080p HD video, and a full glass (4 Glass) lens, ensuring clear and stable video display. Additionally, the G4 is built for outdoor use with excellent temperature stability (both cold and hot) and an IPX3 waterproof rating.

Free Cloud and Local Storage

• The Aqara G4 offers cost-effective storage solutions, providing 7 days of free cloud storage, saving you up to $60 annually on subscription fees. Additionally, the indoor chime supports local storage via a MicroSD card (not included), ensuring a safer and more convenient option. Future updates will include NAS storage for even more flexibility.
• Please note that iCloud or other third-party cloud storage services are not included and must be managed separately through their respective apps.

Battery and Wired 2-in-1 Power Supply

The Aqara G4 offers flexible power options. For a long-term power supply, opt for wired installation. If wiring is not feasible, use battery power. The G4 can also be wired to a transformer, with batteries serving as a backup during power outages. The 6-battery pack allows for up to 4 months of usage, assuming 35 device wake-ups and 6-second event video recordings per day. Additionally, the doorbell can be powered by an external 12-24V AC or DC power supply, accommodating various installation needs.

Chime-Repeater Included

The Aqara G4 comes with an indoor WiFi chime that can emit sounds up to 95 dB. It ensures stable network performance and continues to function even if the network disconnects. The chime supports MicroSD card storage (up to 512GB, not included) for secure video storage.

Voice Changing Option

The Aqara G4 features unique voice-changing technology, allowing users to alter their intercom audio to sound like an uncle, robot, or clown, enhancing privacy and security.

Do Not Disturb Mode

Users can customize the doorbell’s ringing period and volume. Activating Do Not Disturb mode ensures peace of mind, even if the doorbell is rung maliciously at night.

Personalized Custom Ringtones

Users can upload custom ringtones for the doorbell, which can be configured to play on the outdoor doorbell or indoor repeater. For example, when identifying strangers, the doorbell can announce, “Tom is not at home, please come back tomorrow.”

Various Abnormal State Alarms

The Aqara G4 provides alerts for various abnormal states, such as forced disassembly, extreme temperatures, prolonged presence at the door, or low battery power. These alarms help maintain the safety and functionality of your doorbell and home.

Set Masking Area

Users can designate up to 3 areas in the video feed to be blocked for privacy protection, ensuring neighbors’ privacy is respected. This feature is particularly beneficial for those living in apartment buildings. Once set, the designated areas will be blocked in both live and recorded video screens.
